Method
    1. Preheat the Oven:
      • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch (23×13 cm) loaf pan.
    2. Prepare the Banana Mixture:
      • In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork or potato masher until smooth. Add the rolled oats and milk, and mix well. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to soften the oats.
    3. Add Wet Ingredients:
      • Add the egg, brown sugar, and vegetable oil to the banana-oat mixture. Mix until well combined.
    4. Combine Dry Ingredients:
      • In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
    5. Mix Wet and Dry Ingredients:
      • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are okay. If you’re adding nuts or chocolate chips, gently fold them into the batter.
    6. Bake:
      • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Smooth the top with a spatula.
      • Bake in the preheated oven for 55-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
    7. Cool and Serve:
      • Allow the banana oat bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
      • Slice and enjoy your freshly baked Banana Oat Bread!
    Pro Tips
    • Ripe Bananas: The riper the bananas, the sweeter and more flavorful your bread will be.
    • Texture: The oats in the bread provide a hearty texture. If you prefer a smoother bread, you can blend the oats into a flour-like consistency before adding them to the banana mixture.
    • Storage: Store the bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. Alternatively, refrigerate for a longer shelf life.
