Method
  1. 1. Prepare the Matcha Paste:
In a small bowl, sift the matcha green tea powder to remove any lumps.
Add the hot water to the bowl with the sifted matcha powder.
Use a bamboo whisk or a small whisk to vigorously whisk the matcha and hot water until it forms a smooth paste. Ensure there are no clumps.

    2. Sweeten the Matcha Paste:
Add honey or your preferred sweetener to the matcha paste and stir until it’s well incorporated. Adjust the sweetness to your liking.

    3. Blend Matcha, Milk, and Ice:
In a blender, combine the matcha paste, cold milk, and a handful of ice cubes.
Blend until all the ingredients are well combined and the ice is completely crushed. This will create a compact matcha frappe sensation.

    4. Serve and Enjoy:
Pour the blended matcha frappe into a glass.
Optionally, you can top it with whipped cream and a dusting of matcha powder for added flair.

    Pro Tip
    • Adjust the amount of matcha powder and sweetener to suit your taste preferences.
    • For a creamier iced latte, you can use a milk frothier to froth the cold milk before adding the matcha paste.
    • Ensure the matcha paste is fully dissolved in hot water before combining it with the cold milk to avoid any clumps.

Notes

With this blender method, you’ll have a velvety and compact matcha frappe that’s perfect for hot days or when you crave a refreshing treat. Enjoy the delightful fusion of matcha, milk, and ice.
