Ingredients for 12 Servings

  • 170g Unsalted Butter
    300g Sugar
    3 Large Eggs (Room Temperature)
    1 1/2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
    280g Cake Flour
    2 1/2 Teaspoons
    1/2 Teaspoon Salt
    184g Milk (2%)
    · 1kg Buttercream

    1. Preheat your oven to 175°C. Grease and flour three 20cm (8-inch) round cake pans and line the bottoms with parchment paper.
    2. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
    3. Add eggs one by one, beat well between each egg.
    4. Beat in Vanilla.
    5. In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder and salt.
    6. Add to creamed mixture alternating with milk, beating well after each addition.
    7. Pour into 3 prepared pans, dividing batter evenly.
    8. Bake in at 175° C until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
    9. Cool in pans 10min – 15 min before removing to wire racks. Remove parchment.
    10. Cool completely.
    11. Prepare Buttercream

    Ensemble the layer Cake:

    • Start with the first layer on a Cake platter.
    • Spread Butter cream evenly
    • Place second layer on top and spread the same amount of butter cream evenly on it
    • Repeat with the last layer
    • Cover top and all around the entire cake to cover it completely
    • Decorate as desired
    • Cool for several hours before cutting and serving
